[07-22-2022] Monterey County, CA – 21-year-old Man Killed in a Hit-and-Run Accident in Greenfield

According to the Greenfield Police Department, a 21-year-old man identified as Oscar L. was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver, Alfonso H., on Elm Avenue on Friday, July 22, 2022.

When police arrived at the scene, they discovered Oscar with severe head injuries from being hit by a car.

Soledad police assisted Greenfield police in locating the suspect’s vehicle.

Officers found the car with the help of witnesses and city cameras. However, Alfonso is still on the run.

Herrera has black hair, brown eyes, and a 140-pound frame. Police advise calling 911 and staying away from Herrera if you see him.
