[07-26-2022] Kern County, CA – 2 Dead after Two-Vehicle Crash on Kimberlina Road

According to the California Highway Patrol, two people were killed in an accident on Magnolia Avenue and Kimberlina Road near Wasco just before 10 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2022.

According to CHP officials, the accident involved a Honda Accord and a Rav4. Both occupants of the Honda Accord were killed.

According to authorities, the driver of the Rav4 is Jonathan B.P. Lopez, 34. Lopez was taken to Kern Medical Center with moderate injuries.

Lopez was driving westbound on Kimberlina Road in a Rav4 when a Honda Accord failed to stop at a stop sign at Magnolia Avenue and entered the intersection.
