[07-26-2022] Kern County, CA - Two-Vehicle Collision Results Two Fatalities on Kimberlina RoadAccording to the California Highway Patrol, two people are dead after a two-vehicle collision near the Wasco area Tuesday, July 26, 2022.

The crash occurred just before 10:00 p.m. on Magnolia Avenue and Kimberlina Road.

According to CHP, a Honda Accord and a Rav4 were involved in the collision. Both people inside the Honda Accord passed away.

According to CHP, the Rav4’s occupant is Jonathan L., a 34-year-old man. Lopez was taken by ambulance to Kern Medical with minor wounds.

CHP claims that Lopez was in a Rav4 traveling west on Kimberlina Road when a Honda Accord allegedly entered the intersection after failing to stop at a stop sign at Magnolia Avenue.

The crash is still under investigation.
