[07-26-2022] Riverside County, CA -One Person Killed, 2 Others Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on SR-79

According to the Riverside County Fire Department, one person died at the scene, while two others were taken to hospitals, one with moderate injuries and the other with minor injuries, after a multiple vehicle crash on Tuesday, July 26, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened on the southbound side of the highway near Gilman Springs Road.

According to the CHP, one vehicle, including a tractor-trailer, overturned and was involved in the crash,.

The Riverside County coroner’s office identified the deceased as Aaron Begnaud, 33, of Orange County.
