[07-26-2023] Los Angeles County, CA – Five People Injured, Three Severely, After Car Crash on 10 Freeway near Palms Boulevard

Five people were injured following a single-vehicle crash on the 10 Freeway in Los Angeles on Wednesday morning, July 26, 2023.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the crash was reported around 2:20 a.m. on the westbound side of the 10 Freeway near Palms Boulevard.

The car, identified as a Tesla, veered off and crashed into a homeless encampment in the Palms neighborhood.

This incident resulted in five people being injured. Three individuals were rescued from the vehicle and taken to the hospital in serious condition, while the other two patients were transported to the hospital in fair condition.

The exact cause of the accident remains undetermined and undisclosed at this time.
