[07-27-2022] San Luis Obispo, CA - Bicyclist Dead After Colliding With Fire Engine in Grover BeachAccording to the Grover Beach Police Department, a bicyclist succumbed to his injuries after colliding with a fire engine in Grover Beach Wednesday, July 27, 2022.

The fatal collision occurred at 10:50 p.m. on 13th street between Trouville and Seabright.

The bicyclist was rushed to the hospital and succumbed to its injuries at 3:14 a.m.

It has not yet been revealed who the deceased is.

CHP has been brought in to assist with the investigation, which is standard with crashes involving emergency vehicles.

There are multiple fire engines and police vehicles on the scene.

The mobile command center has also been set up.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation by California Highway Patrol.
