[07-28-2022] Santa Clara County, CA - Man Killed in a Motorcycle Accident in San JoseAccording to police, a motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a car in San Jose on Thursday, July 28, 2022.

Officers arrived shortly after 8 a.m. to the accident at the junction of Curtner Avenue and Briarwood Drive in the Willow Glen district.

The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital and was declared dead.

The car’s driver remained at the scene and cooperated in the investigation. The victim’s identity has not yet been revealed.

According to police, it was the city’s 40th deadly collision and 42nd casualty this year.

Drivers avoided the area and took other routes during the investigation.
