According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the crash occurred shortly before 6:00 a.m. north of McCall Boulevard on the southbound 215 Freeway.

The fire department reported that one person passed away at the scene, and another was taken to a hospital to treat minor wounds.

According to the California Highway Patrol, traffic was diverted around the scene while authorities looked into the details of the single-vehicle accident.
