According to the authorities, a multi-vehicle collision involving a big rig blocked both lanes on U.S. 101 in Salinas Tuesday, August 2, 2022.

The crash occurred Tuesday afternoon on U.S. 101 northbound at Airport.

According to the authorities, the collision involved four vehicles, three of which were cars and one of which was a large truck.

The number of people hurt has not yet been made public.
