[08-03-2022] Siskiyou County, CA - Bridge Collapsed Near Mckinney Fire Killed at Least Four People and Injured Private ContractorAccording to the Siskiyou County sheriff’s office, at least four people died, and one private contractor was injured after a bridge collapsed near Mckinney Fire on Wednesday, August 03, 2022.

The accident happened along Humbug Road.

The private contractor working on the McKinney fire was injured when debris fell over his car while driving across a bridge.

The victim was taken to a neighboring hospital with minor injuries.

The sheriff’s office stated that they were able to respond to such calls due to increased law enforcement resources from nearby departments.

The case remained under investigation.
