[08-04-2022] Solano County, CA - Pedestrian Killed in a Crash on Interstate 80A pedestrian was killed in an I-80 crash on Thursday morning, August 04, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the crash happened around 1:50 a.m. near W Texas Street.

The victim was struck in an eastbound lane of I-80 before being tossed into a westbound lane.

According to the CHP, both drivers cooperated.

Neither drugs nor alcohol appeared to be directly involved in the accident.

The investigation is still ongoing.
