[08-04-2023] Los Angeles County, CA – Three People Killed Following Wrong-Way Collision in Palmdale

Three people were killed following a wrong-way collision in Palmdale on Friday morning, August 4, 2023.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to the accident on Pearblossom Highway and Valley Springs Road around 3:30 a.m.

A 2017 Kia Sorento traveled east on Pearblossom Highway. It crossed the westbound lanes to the west of Valley Springs Road for unknown reasons and collided with a 2023 Toyota Tacoma traveling westbound.

The Kia driver, his passenger, and the Toyota Tacoma driver were all declared dead at the scene.

It was identified that a 41-year-old man from Long Beach was the Kia driver, and his passenger was a 60-year-old Victorville man. A 37-year-old Littlerock man was the Toyota driver. Their names have not been released.

Police are investigating and are asking anyone with information to get in touch with them.
