The following are some scenarios that could occur:

Given the speed of motorists on a highway, pedestrian accidents are unavoidable because the drivers do not have enough time to avoid hitting the pedestrians crossing the street. Many drivers fail to notice pedestrians until it is too late. The majority of these accidents are caused by driver error or distraction.

More than 90% of crashes involving pedestrians walking on the road occur after dark. Suicidal behavior, driver inattention, and alcohol use are all factors.

Pedestrians may be experiencing mechanical issues with their vehicles and working on them or pushing them off the road. These accidents are frequently caused by driver inattention, sleepiness, or intoxication.
