[08-10-2022] Butte County, CA - Two-Vehicle Collision Results in One Person Injured on Meridian RoadOn Wednesday afternoon, an unidentified person suffered minor injuries after a two-vehicle collision on Meridian Road.

The collision occurred around 4:25 pm on Highway 99 on Meridian Road.

According to the CHP, the vehicle involved was a white SUV. It turned left and slammed into the path of a car traveling northbound on the highway.

On the northbound side of Highway 99, in an orchard, a northbound car struck a utility pole by the side of the road, knocking it to the ground before continuing through a wire fence.

The SUV driver was unharmed after the accident.
