[08-10-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – Pedestrian Man Struck and Killed by Metrolink Train in Sun Valley Area

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, a person was hit by a Metrolink train and killed in the Sun Valley area Wednesday, August 10, 2022.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the fatal collision occurred shortly before 8:00 a.m. in the 8200 block of North San Fernando Road.

After receiving a call about a person who had been struck by a train, the paramedics were dispatched to the scene to assist.

There have been no statements made by Metrolink concerning what took place.
