[08-10-2022] San Mateo County, CA – Three Injured in Suspected DUI Crash On Highway 1 Near Half Moon Bay Airport

According to the California Highway Patrol, three people were injured following a suspected DUI crash on State Highway 1 close to the Half Moon Bay Airport on Wednesday, August 10, 2022.

The collision occurred at around 4:15 p.m. just south of Moss Beach.

According to the CHP, a northbound SUV crossed into oncoming traffic and struck a sedan.

A woman in the sedan, two men in the SUV, and two women were taken to Stanford Hospital.

According to authorities, the SUV’s driver may have been drinking while driving.

The collision is to be further investigated.
