[08-10-2023] San Benito County, CA – At Least One Person Injured After Two-Vehicle Head-On Collision Near San Juan Bautista

At least one person was injured after a head-on collision involving two vehicles near San Juan Bautista on Thursday morning, August 10, 2023.

The California Highway Patrol responded to the accident on Highway 101 and State Route 156 at an unspecified time.

While a Honda Accord traveled east on State Route 156, a Toyota traveled south on 101 toward the same road. The Toyota accelerated and made no attempt to stop for approaching traffic. The two vehicles then collided with one another.

Victims were rescued immediately after first aid personnel arrived at the area. Each vehicle has at least one person transported to Hazels Hawkins after sustaining minor injuries.

No disclosure of identities has been made yet as authorities continue to conduct their investigation.
