The accident happened at around 4:15 pm at Half Moon Bay Airport on Highway 1.

According to the CHP, the SUV driver veered off the road and into oncoming traffic, causing a collision. Both the SUV and the sedan collided.

The female SUV driver, the passenger, and the female sedan driver took them to a hospital in Standford.

According to authorities, at least one victim was airlifted away from the scene.

The SUV’s driver may have been intoxicated, according to the investigating officer.
