The accident occurred on Friday along U.S. 101 close to Dora Creek.

Rebeckah K., age 41, and three unidentified young girls, ages 17, 15, and 10, were among the other four passengers.

A 15-year-old girl suffered severe injuries from the collision, while Kencke only had moderate injuries. They took them to different hospitals to receive medical attention for their wounds.

According to the California Highway Patrol, Tyson Y., 41, was operating his Toyota Tundra southbound on the highway when he veered into the northbound lane.

Young crossed the road and struck Kencke’s Kia Sedona head-on. Kencke was operating the vehicle.

Young was taken to the hospital after the collision and sustained severe injuries.

Young was arrested for felony DUI after discovering that he was intoxicated at the crash.
