In a rollover collision, a car flips onto its side or roof, causing severe injuries or even fatalities. Rollover collisions result in more fatalities than other types of crashes.
Santa Barbara County, a sizable city in California, sees an unusually high number of car accidents with seriously injured victims. It’s a great place to live, with a low cost of living index and a street layout based on quadrants.
Between 2003 and 2016, there were almost 11,000 auto accidents in Fresno, which is concerning for anyone who lives or works there.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), around 3% of automobile accidents involve rollovers. However, about 35% of fatal passenger vehicle accidents involve a rollover or tip-over.
The leading cause of rollover accidents is a driver losing control of the car. Drivers who use their phones, fall asleep at the wheel or engage in other distractions while operating a vehicle risk losing concentration and control.
It would be best if you only did that while driving. Keep your full attention on the road at all times. Driving is not the time for texting, talking on the phone, eating, reading, or engaging in any activity that is not explicitly related to driving.
