[08-12-2023] Sacramento County, CA – 2 Hospitalized After Motorcycle Crashed on Highway 50 in Folsom

Two people were injured and rushed to the hospital after crashing on a motorcycle on Highway 50 in Folsom on Saturday morning, August 12, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred on the highway near East Bidwell Street at around 10 a.m. when the driver lost control of the bike and crashed.

The passengers of the Harley Davidson motorcycle, a man and a woman, were traveling eastbound. Details of what caused the driver to lose control were not specified, but authorities ruled out DUI as a factor in the incident.

The occupants were ejected from the motorcycle and sustained moderate to major injuries.

The victims’ identities were not disclosed to the public, and no other vehicles or persons were involved.
