A 29-year-old woman was killed in a pedestrian crash after being hit by a car while jaywalking in El Cajon early on Sunday morning.
The accident happened around 1:30 a.m. in the eastbound lane of East Bradley Avenue. The woman was crossing the street without using the crosswalk.
According to OnScene.TV, the driver, who is 21 years old, stopped right away after the collision at around 1:30 a.m. and is now cooperating with police.
The driver was speeding and blasting music when the victim was struck.
Unfortunately, the woman died at the scene, leaving behind a 10-year-old son.
