Single-Vehicle Crash Statistics

Single-vehicle collisions are among California’s most dangerous car accidents, despite the fact that many drivers are unaware of this.

Those who are high on drugs or alcohol tend to drive more carelessly. In addition to endangering their own lives, they might also endanger the lives of others.

Driving while intoxicated has the potential to endanger lives significantly. Despite enforcing laws against drunk driving, there are more DUI accidents in the US.

In 2017, there were 1,120 DUI accidents in California, surpassing New York as the state with the second-highest fatalities due to drunk driving.

Numerous factors may bring on a collision involving only one vehicle. A common type of single-car accident is a run-off-the-road collision when the driver is speeding or making sudden turns on a wet, slick road and loses control.
