[08-20-2022] San Francisco County, CA - Suspected DUI Involved in Multiple Vehicle Collision in San JoseAccording to the CHP, a car accident involving a multi-vehicle crash occurred in San Jose Saturday night, August 20, 2022.

The collision occurred around 8:32 p.m., about two blocks south of Notre Dame High School.

One individual has been held on suspicion of drunk driving. The accident took place close to I-280 and South 1st Street.

Among the seven vehicles involved were a white Chevy Blazer, a grey Tesla, a silver Toyota Prius, a white Toyota RAV4, and a black BMW 3 Series.

There were no mentioned injuries in the CHP incident log as of 10 p.m.

The first driver, believed to have caused the collision, was later detained by police on suspicion of driving under the influence.
