[08-21-2022] Los Angeles County, CA- 42-year-old Pedestrian Killed after being Fatally Struck By Car In Huntington BeachAccording to the Huntington Beach Police Department, a man was killed after being hit by a car in Huntington Beach on Sunday, August 21, 2022.

According to the police, the 42-year-old pedestrian was injured on Beach Boulevard, south of Ellis Avenue, around 10:30 p.m. Sunday and died at a hospital. His identity has been withheld pending notification of his relatives.

The man was standing outside a crosswalk when hit by a northbound 2008 Toyota Camry on Beach Boulevard.

The 42-year-old female driver of the Camry from Hemet remained at the scene and fully cooperated with the officer. According to the officers, impairment did not appear to be a factor.

The investigation was still ongoing. Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact the police at 714-536-5670.
