According to the California Highway Patrol, a teenager was hit and killed by a vehicle near Visalia Tuesday morning, August 9, 2022.
The crash occurred at about 4:00 a.m. on Highway 198 at Road 182 just east of Visalia.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 51-year-old woman from Visalia was driving on the 198, and an 18-year-old man was standing in the fast lane.
He was hit, and the people at the scene said he was dead. He has not been identified. The crash didn’t hurt the driver too badly.
The reason for the crash is still being looked into.
