[08-24-2022] Person Hospitalized after being Struck by a Vehicle on Highway 99According to the California Highway Patrol, one person was taken to the hospital after being hit by a car on Butte County’s Highway 99 on Wednesday, August 24, 2022.

The accident occurred around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, just north of Gridley and south of Highway 162.

According to the CHP, a motorcycle passenger was hit while getting off the bike.

Highway 99 is now open again.
