[08-24-2022] San Bernardino County, CA – One Person Killed In Multi-Vehicle Crash On Highway 138

According to the California Highway Patrol, at least one person was killed in a fatal multi-vehicle crash on Highway 138 Wednesday, August 24, 2022.

The crash occurred at about 4:54 p.m. on Highway 138 near Mormon Rocks.

At the scene of the accident, the California Highway Patrol and firefighters from the San Bernardino County Fire Department helped.

The CHP traffic log says that the cars in the accident were a Honda Accord sedan, a white Ford Fiesta sedan, an upside-down pickup truck, and an Oldsmobile sedan.

Even though firefighters and CHP officers did everything they could to save a life, one person was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two people were hurt in the crash, and both were taken to a nearby hospital.

The CHP thinks that speed, not weather, caused the crash.
