Alameda County Hit-and-Run Accident Lawyers
You probably can’t picture yourself leaving the scene of a car accident, but some drivers are much less careful than others. This is why there are lawyers for people who have been hit and left behind. Every driver must stop if they’re in a traffic accident, and most of us wouldn’t even think about not doing so.
Still, some drivers can leave the scene of an accident, and many of them do so because they have already made other bad decisions:
- The driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- The driver is already in trouble with the law.
- The driver isn’t covered by insurance or doesn’t have a valid driving license in California.
- The driver is here without permission.
If any of these things happen, it shows that the driver didn’t take their job seriously enough. This makes it even more likely that the driver could get away after causing an accident. If you were hurt by a driver who hit and ran, talk to a lawyer for hit-and-run accidents right away to protect your rights.
