According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a reckless driver caused a multi-vehicle collision in a stolen BMW in Hollywood Friday evening, August 26, 2022.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the crash occurred just before 6:30 p.m. near Sunset Boulevard and Wilton Place.
The police saw a white BMW i8 that had been reported stolen. When police started following the driver, they ended up hitting other cars.
Police say that the suspect ran away after the accident. Soon after, he was taken into custody.
The BMW crashed onto a sidewalk, and several other cars stopped in the middle of the street.
No one knows yet how many people have been hurt. The cause of the crash is still being looked into.
