According to the authorities, a doctor and semi-professional cyclist was a victim of a hit-and-run crash in Redlands Friday, August 26, 2022.
The crash occurred at about 5:00 p.m. on Sunset Drive, just south of Panorama Point Drive in Redlands.
According to the news release, the victim was identified as Kyle C.
The force of the collision reportedly snapped in half the frame of his bicycle, as stated by the authorities. The same thing happened to his jaw as before.
Cooper was knocked unconscious during the collision, and the investigators had difficulty determining who or what caused him to crash because there were no witnesses.
Cooper reported that the computer on his bicycle had clocked him riding at 15 miles per hour before he suddenly accelerated at the very last second and then came to a complete stop.
His facial injuries, the doctors told him, were more consistent with a collision traveling at a speed of forty miles per hour.
The investigation of the crash is not yet complete.
