[08-26-2022] Pedestrian Hit and Killed On Eastbound I-10A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a car on westbound Interstate 10 near Waterman Avenue in San Bernardino on Friday morning, August 26, 2022.

The accident occurred around 3:12 a.m., right after the Waterman Avenue exit.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP) Traffic Report, the white pedestrian was walking in the traffic lanes.

When the CHP arrived on the scene, they discovered an unresponsive male pedestrian between the #3 and #4 lanes.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead after efforts to save his life failed.

According to reports, the driver remained on the scene and cooperated with investigators.

The crash remains under investigation.
