[08-27-2022] Kern County, CA – 20-Year-Old Tony Ray C. Killed in Suspected DUI crash on Interstate 5

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), 20-year-old Tony Ray C. of Bakersfield died following a suspected DUI collision in the Fort Tejon area on Saturday, August 27, 2022.

A 2004 Toyota Solara was discovered on its roof around 7:11 p.m. on the right shoulder of Interstate 5, north of the Lebec service area.

Charles III was a passenger in a Toyota Solara and was confirmed dead at the scene.

The suspected DUI, 18-year-old Deleah J., was transported to Kern Medical for treatment of moderate injuries.

CHP officers investigated and detained Johnson on suspicion of felony DUI.
