[08-27-2022] Kern County, CA – One Person Dead in Suspected DUI Rollover Crash in Fort Tejon

According to the California Highway Patrol, officers arrested a Bakersfield woman on suspicion of felony DUI after a rollover crash left a man dead in the Fort Tejon area on Saturday, August 27, 2022.

According to a CHP news release, the crash occurred around 7:11 p.m. on Interstate 5 just north of the Lebec service area.

The 2004 Toyota Solara was discovered on its roof on the right shoulder of the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 near the Lebec service area. The area is known for its proximity to the Lebec service area.

There is currently no new information regarding the hospital to which the victim was taken.
