An older man, Salvador C., 67, was killed after a bicycle crash in Wasco on Sunday morning, August 28, 2022.

The accident occurred around 8:19 am at the junction of Poplar and Filburn avenues.

Officials reported that the accident left the bicycle rider with multiple wounds.

At the scene, Covarrubias was pronounced dead.

The truck driver did not stop or offer assistance.
