[08-29-2023] Los Angeles County, CA – At Least One Person Suffered Minor Injuries After Two-Vehicle Collision in Hollywood Hills

At least one person suffered minor injuries after a two-vehicle collision in Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles, on Tuesday afternoon, August 29, 2023.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, firefighters responded to the crash that occured in the 3000 block of North Lake Hollywood Drive at around 2:50 p.m.

Authorities reported that the collision between two vehicles started a bushfire, but neither of the vehicles burned. Fire officials said a quarter-acre of brush and a minor spot fire broke out approximately 100 yards from the initial blaze.

One woman was evaluated at the traffic collision scene for minor injuries but was not transported to the hospital. At 3:45 p.m., fire personnel reported that all flames were extinguished.

No further details were released regarding what caused the crash and the identities of those involved. It is unknown whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the collision.
