A female pedestrian identified by her family as 26-year-old Emily S. was killed after being hit by a vehicle in Victorville Tuesday, August 30, 2022.
The crash occurred at around 7:25 a.m. near the intersection of D Street and 11th Street in Victorville.
Emily was already dead when they got there, so they told them that. The car’s driver stayed at the accident site and helped the police.
The investigation showed that Emily was hit in the eastbound number one lane of D Street between 11th Street and Stoddard Wells Road as she tried to cross the road.
Based on what we know, alcohol, drugs, speeding, and other dangerous driving behaviors did not cause the crash.
