[08-31-2022] 64-Year-Old Man Died After a Fatal Pedestrian Crash in North Long BeachA 64-year-old man, identified as Fernando G. of Long Beach, was struck and killed after a fatal pedestrian crash involving a vehicle in North Long Beach on Wednesday morning, August 31, 2022.

The accident occurred around 4:49 a.m. near Paramount Boulevard and Coolidge Street.

According to the LBPD, Gonzales was not in a crosswalk. He suffered life-threatening injuries.

Unfortunately, Gonzales passed away from his injuries at the scene.

According to the statement, the driver of the BMW stayed on the scene and assisted the police. There is no reason to believe this collision was caused by speed, distracted driving, or intoxication.
