[09-01-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – One Person Killed, Another Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision on Sierra Highway

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, a two-vehicle collision involving a semi-truck killed a Mojave woman who was in the car on Sierra Highway Thursday, September 1, 2022

The fatal collision occurred at approximately 2:20 p.m. just north of R. Lee Ermey Avenue and Avenue N.

Lee Ermey Avenue onto Sierra Highway entered the merging road.

The Fusion veered into the right lane, where it was involved in an accident with a Freightliner manufactured in 2016.

The authorities did not release the victims’ names or any other information.

The investigators are still trying to determine what caused the collision.
