Fatal Road Rage Statistics

More than half of all fatal car accidents are caused, according to the AAA, by aggressive driving, a symptom of road rage. According to a year-long independent study, thirty people died, and 1,800 were injured each year in road-rage incidents.

Every year since 2018, the number of road rage-related injuries and deaths has increased, according to Everytown Research & Policy.

Nearly 1 out of three crashes were caused by road rage. Drivers who operate their vehicles aggressively or recklessly are putting other people’s lives unnecessarily at risk.

These are concerning and scary statistics. Distracted or otherwise negligent and reckless drivers are responsible for thousands upon thousands of needless deaths and injuries each year.

Innocent people shouldn’t have to suffer due to someone’s careless actions on the road. Drivers who operate their vehicles in such a manner should be held liable for the damages and injuries they cause.
