One man died, and a boy was injured after a two-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck last Friday night, September 2, 2022, in Lake Los Angeles.
The crash happened a little before 6:45 p.m., according to California Highway Patrol on Longmeadow Avenue and 170th Street East in the Lake Los Angeles neighborhood.
According to the first responders, they discovered that one of the participants, a man died at the scene. Local authorities did not immediately know the circumstances leading up to the collision.
As of Saturday night, the condition of the boy who was taken urgently to a nearby hospital for treatment was unknown.
Officers declined to say which vehicle either of the occupants was in.
