Multiple people were injured when a police chase of a wanted suspect ended in a crash at a Costco parking lot in Stockton on Tuesday afternoon, September 3, 2024.

According to the Stockton Police Department, the suspect, wanted for crimes in multiple areas, crashed head-on into an SUV while attempting to flee the parking lot along Hammer Lane.

Authorities at the scene confirmed that everyone injured in the crash is expected to recover. The suspect, whose identity has not yet been released, was taken into custody. Details regarding the crimes the suspect was wanted for have not been disclosed.
