They were Kenneth M., who was 56 and from El Dorado Hills, and Richard C., who was 68 and from Orangevale. At the scene, the two men were said to be dead upon responders arrival.

Mueller was the chief financial officer for Raley’s Supermarkets, and Conte was the chief pilot. Raley’s Supermarkets is a chain of 128 stores in Northern California and Nevada that is based in West Sacramento and has different names for each of its stores.

The Beechcraft Baron 58 crashed into a marshy area in an almond orchard near Galt, south of Sacramento, just before 9:00 a.m. on Sunday.

Authorities say that the firefighters had to wade through water and swim to get to the plane.

The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board are handling the investigation.

The Beech 58 plane reportedly crashed around 9:00 a.m. local time (0200 GMT) into an orchard in Galt, a city in Sacramento County.

According to the authorities, firefighters had to swim through a small body of water in order to reach the plane.

According to a Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson, there were two people on board, and both died in the collision.
