The Los Angeles Police Department said a driver fled the scene of a two-car crash in San Pedro on Monday, September 5, 2022.
The crash occurred on a Monday at 18th and Mesa streets.
According to the video of the accident, the driver appeared to leave their vehicle behind after striking a parked car.
According to the police, the driver of the other vehicle, which struck the outside of a church, remained at the scene of the collision.
The LAPD is investigating the crash as a hit-and-run.
It is unknown if anyone was hurt or taken to the hospital despite paramedics being dispatched to the scene.
LAPD hasn’t tracked down any potential suspects or released a suspect description.
The crash remains under investigation.
