[09-05-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – Pedestrian Hospitalized After Being Hit by Car in Canyon Country

A pedestrian was struck by an automobile in Canyon Country on Monday, September 5, 2022.

The accident happened at around 6:30 p.m. near Sierra Highway and Jakes Way.

According to Bernard Peters of the Los Angeles County Fire Department, first responders received reports of a traffic collision involving a pedestrian.

The victim was taken to the hospital.

As of Monday, the severity of the patient’s injuries was unknown.

The accident remains under investigation.
