[09-05-2022] San Joaquin County, CA - A DUI Collision Ended in a Fatality and a Female was Arrested in StocktonA woman was detained, and the passenger in her car was killed following a suspected DUI collision in Stockton on Monday morning, September 5, 2022.

Around 4:30 a.m., the collision occurred close to the Country Club Boulevard onramp and Interstate 5.

According to authorities, the car went down a nearby embankment, and the passenger was thrown from the vehicle.

The ejected passenger was subsequently struck by the car, according to CHP. According to officials, the passenger was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
