[09-06-2022] Fresno County, CA – 61-Year-Old Man Killed After Two-Vehicle Rollover Collision on West Dinuba Avenue

According to the California Highway Patrol, a man was killed after a two-vehicle rollover crash in Fresno Tuesday afternoon, September 6, 2022.

The crash occurred at around 3:20 p.m. on South Marks Avenue, just south of West Dinuba Avenue.

When police and emergency medical services arrived, they discovered a man, 61 years old, who had suffered critical injuries and was later pronounced dead at the scene.

According to the findings of the investigation conducted by the CHP, the man was operating a Mazda pickup truck while traveling southbound on South Marks Avenue when he allowed the vehicle to veer off to the left, which resulted in the vehicle leaving the paved road and coming to rest in the dirt.

Because of this, the truck rolled onto its roof and then crashed into a grape vineyard that had a chain link fence surrounding it.

At this time, it is impossible to tell whether or not alcohol played a role in the collision.

The authorities have not yet received any reports on the toxicology findings, and the investigation is still ongoing.
