[09-06-2022] One Person Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision in Arroyo GrandeAccording to the California Highway Patrol, a two-vehicle crash injured at least one person and blocked traffic in both directions on Highway 227 in Arroyo Grande Tuesday morning, September 6, 2022.

According to the CHP, the crash transpired at 9:28 a.m. near the intersection of Carpenter Canyon Road and La Vida Lane.

The government agency claims that a white Honda and a white truck collided head-on, with the truck coming out on its side as a result of the collision.

At least one person who was involved in the accident was taken to the hospital, but the nature and severity of their injuries are unknown at this time.

Tow trucks were called to assist with both of the vehicles.

Carpenter Canyon Road and Phillips Road were unable to be crossed because the Arroyo Grande Police Department had blocked off the intersection.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
