[09-07-2022] Fresno County, CA - One Woman Killed in Fatal Pedestrian Crash on Highway 99According to police, a woman was killed after being struck by a semi-truck in West Central Fresno on Wednesday, September 7, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred just after 1:00 a.m. northbound on the 99 near the Olive Avenue off-ramp.

According to police, the woman was in the middle lane when the semi-truck driver failed to notice her in time and struck her.

The driver stopped right away.

According to the authorities, the reason the woman was on the road is still unknown.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.
