The train accident happened around 12:15 a.m. near El Segundo Boulevard and Willowbrook Avenue.

The pedestrian was killed on the spot.

The identity of the victim has not yet been revealed.

The circumstances surrounding the crash have not yet been disclosed.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies closed off the area as they investigated the accident.
